Lynette is the Chief Operating Officer with Invest Alberta Corporation (IAC)—an organization focused on attracting high impact, high value investment to Alberta. Beginning at IAC as VP, Investor Services, she now oversees all investor services and investment attraction activities, including domestic and international teams. Prior to Invest Alberta, Lynette served as VP, Strategy & Innovation with Edmonton Global, helping attract foreign direct investment to the Edmonton Metropolitan Region. She has held senior roles in economic development, municipal and provincial governments and the private sector in BC, Ontario and Alberta over the past 13 years and has helped build and transform organizations by leading marketing, communications, policy and stakeholder relations efforts. Her breadth of experience across public, private and non-profit sectors has helped strengthen operations, create effective partner engagement, and promote Alberta as a destination of choice for global investors. Lynette has also served on the board of the Edmonton Screen Industries Office and volunteers supporting women’s leadership initiatives.
