Michael joined the Trade Commissioner Service with the Embassy of Canada in Switzerland in December 2014 as Senior Trade Officer. He covers the Life Science, ICT and Agriculture & Agri-Food Sector. In this role, he supports the business and collaboration of Canadian and Swiss companies. 

Prior to working with the Embassy, Michael worked in the private sectors for 15 years where he held positions in Marketing, Sales and Product Development. Michael worked for large multinationals as well as small and midsized companies. Bringing a very diverse spectrum of experience to the table.  

Michael holds a BS in Economics and Transportation & Logistics and an MBA in International Marketing. 

Outside of work time is spend with family and friends, hiking and skiing in the mountains as well as being a volunteer fire fighter.
