Connor Doyle
Manager of Regulatory Affairs - Olympia Trust Company
Mr. Doyle has over 15 years of diverse experience in the financial services industry. Currently the Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Olympia Trust Company, he has also worked as a Relationship Manager with public and private companies of all sizes, from Suncor Energy Inc. to small private companies and everything in between. Over Mr. Doyle’s career he has been a scrutineer for hundreds of shareholder meetings, been the lead scrutineer for several Dissident shareholder meetings, and worked with his clients to complete over 100 billion dollars’ worth of mergers and private placement deals. Mr. Doyle also worked as a Financial Planner at TD Waterhouse, earning his Certified Financial Planner credentials there.
Mr. Doyle’s background also includes extensive technical experience in the telecom industry in Canada and the USA. Working as the Manager of Customer Support for a telecom company he traveled across Canada and the USA providing technical support and sales engineering assistance.
In addition to his work experience, Mr. Doyle is a current Board member of the Securities Transfer Association of Canada (STAC) and was a Board member for seven years with a Calgary community organization and registered charity, acting as Treasurer during that time. He also volunteered for the SAIT Alumni Centennial Committee for SAIT’s 100th birthday celebration and regularly volunteered for SAIT Alumni events.
Mr. Doyle has built relationships with corporate executives, Board members, industry partners, regulators, and members of law firms across Canada and the USA.
Mr. Doyle has a Broadcast Electronics Diploma from SAIT and an Accelerated Accounting Certificate from SAIT.
Mr. Doyle is a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) and has been a member of the Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists for over 25 years.
