Cara Wolf is the Founder and CEO of Ammolite Analytx, an international awardwinning advisory firm specializing in advanced information security solutions and data analytics for global companies, government and private sector clients. Ammolite supports organizations to protect data and avoid ransomware attacks.
Cara draws upon her 25 years of technical and business expertise to lead multidisciplinary software development teams in the creation of customized quantum resilient cyber security solutions in a wide variety of industries. She is a recognized thought leader, published author and frequently speaks on panels about the impact that cyber resilience, technology creation and adoption have on business profitability.
Cara has advised over 1000 businesses including several Fortune 500 companies and entrepreneurial start-ups. While employed with the Business Development Bank of Canada, Cara was a member of the National Technology Solution Development team, which was responsible for developing short duration customized business solutions designed to build innovation capacity in small and medium sized businesses. Cara has sourced and advised on millions of dollars of technology venture financings. She is former C-Suite executive and has extensive experience serving at the Advisory Board and Director level for many organizations including the Board of Governors UCalgary, Council of Innovation and Entrepreneurial Leadership UCalgary,Automotive Parts ManufacturingAssociation and vCISO Catalyst. She is a past Executive Director of the Calgary Council of Advanced Technologies, a SHEInnovator with UN Women and a business technology mentor with Technovation and the Alberta Status of Women. Cara was recently awarded TECTERRA’s inaugural Woman of Impact award and is a Distinguished Graduate at the Haskayne School of Business. She was awarded the STEM Trailblazer Woman of Inspiration award and Top 20 Women in Cybersecurity. Cara was selected as 1 of 2 Canadian women leaders to participate in the Select USA Global Women in Technology Global Network Mentoring Program spearheaded by Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo. Cara received a Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal for her Community Leadership in Technology.
As a serial entrepreneur Cara founded and exited two of her own firms started while attending the Haskayne School of Business. Cara holds a BComm. in Marketing, an MBA in Corporate Finance and Entrepreneurship from Haskayne and an Executive Certified Management Consultant designation. She also holds several professional certifications in AI/ML and information security.
