IoT when the I is missing; digitization without connectivity: Many digital transformation opportunities go unrealized because the infrastructure necessary for conventional IoT approaches is not available where the opportunity is.

Much of Canada's business activity takes place in remote locations that lack connectivity and technology support services.

In this presentation we share our solution for Canadian Cow/Calf production, a $2B business that is today almost entirely managed with pen and paper. This industry must rapidly digitize to meet regulatory and sustainability requirements. But most ranches lack any IT infrastructure, are located in remote areas without mobile data connectivity, and operate outdoors under all weather conditions.

Flokk's solution to this challenge re-purposes mass market platforms and open source software to deliver a solution that rapidly and easily integrates into ongoing operations, operates stand alone for every day operations at the animals side, yet is affordable enough for wide spread deployment.

Mark Olson, Founder and President, Flokk Systems
